EHS Training

OEHS offers both online and in-person training for university employees and students covering a wide variety of safety topics. Employees can access online courses through TU Learn. Graduate Students, Student Workers, Students, and Tulane Affiliates must be assigned courses directly through Canvas.

Employee Training

General EHS training courses are available online through TU Learn. Please note that most EHS trainings must be repeated annually. Supervisors must ensure that employees complete the required trainings. Employees should download and save training certificates to verify completion. To access assigned EHS training, please click the following link: https://tulane.bridgeapp.com/learner/courses. (It is advised that you use Firefox browser.)

All employees must complete the following training courses listed below. Training is available for general employees at: https://tulane.bridgeapp.com/learner/programs/10943e74/enroll

Please see a comprehensive table for training courses that should be completed annually for work-specific areas. The table provides a schedule for employees to follow to stay on top of annual compliance training. Trainings are assigned for laboratory employees and Facilities Services employees.

The list of trainings are also bundled for easy access in TU Learn.

Live Training options via Zoom are available for research faculty, staff, and students.  See the Lab Safety page for more information.

In addition to the training table, supervisors are required to identify additional training needs for employees based on their specific work activities or materials used in the workplace.  Supervisors are responsible for providing and documenting this specific training.  Supervisors should keep training records for a minimum of five years. Some trainings may require longer retention. Supervisors can reach out to OEHS at oehs@tulane.edu regarding questions or concerns on training for employees.
